NMDC Q2 net up 47.64% at Rs 944.93 cr

New Delhi, Oct 27 (UNI) NMDC Ltd, the country's largest iron-ore producer, today said it has posted an increase of 47.64 per cent in its net profit at Rs 944.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, compared to Rs 640.02 crore during the same period last year.

The company's total income has surged 44.79 per cent to Rs 1,857.27 crore in August-September 2008 from Rs 1,282.72 crore during August-September 2007, it said in a statement.
