Nine killed in accidents
Bangalore, Oct 27 (UNI) Nine persons were killed and 27 others injured in three different road accidents near Hassan and Mandya in the state today.
Reports received said that five persons were killed on the spot and 27 others injured when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus dashed against a tree near Sakaleshpur in Hassan district early today.
The KSRTC bus was on its way to Dharmastala from Bangalore when the accident occurred.
The injured were admitted to Hassan for treatment.
In another two road accidents four persons were killed on the spot near Mandya and Srirangapattana, police said.
