Miss. Moneypenny may sex up the next Bond sequel
London, October 27 : James Bond star Daniel Craig has revealed that the next sequel in the 007 series might be expected to have more steamy action, with the re-introduction of Miss. Moneypenny's role.
The 40-year-old said that that the producers wanted to bring back the role of the secretary to Bond's MI6 boss M, though with a change. The English star further revealed that the depiction of Moneypenny depended on the interested actors themselves.
"I think you offer it to the best actors you can. You say, 'Forget what's happened. Reinvent it and tell us what you think this character should be'," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
"That's where it should come from," he added.
The character of Moneypenny, last enacted by Samantha Bond in 2002's 'Die Another Day', has never been bedded by the 007 Agent, but apparently the possibility of that happening in the next sequel could not be ignored.
"They said Bond could never be blonde and then Daniel Craig got the part," a source said.
"Moneypenny is being cast with a view to the next Bond movie and who knows, she could end up in bed with Bond.
"Whatever happens, she will feature more than ever before," the source added.
