Five militants killed in J and K

Kishtwar (J-K), Oct 27 : At least five Hizbul Mujahideen militants were shot dead in an encounter with army personnel in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

According to a senior army officer, acting on a tip off, troops launched a search and cordon operation in Nawapachi area and came under fire from militants.

Four AK rifles, arms and ammunition and explosives were recovered from the site.

ANI
