Governor, CM greet people on Diwali

Chandigarh, Oct 27 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda have extended their heartiest greetings to people on the occasion of Diwali falling tomorrow.

In a message here today, the Governor said that this festival of lights might radiate happiness and prosperity in every home and foster peace, brotherhood and tranquility among different communities.

The Chief Minister said that the festival of lights might usher in more prosperity to the people and make their future brighter.

Diwali gives us inspiration to fight against all odds and move forward to achieve the goal of making Haryana a number one state in all spheres of development, he added.

Mr Hooda hoped that this joyous occasion would strengthen the emotional integration, brotherhood and mutual understanding among the people belonging to different communities.
