'Extra' holiday for educational institutions

Puducherry, Oct 27: The Puducherry administration has declared a holiday for all educational institutions here on Tuesday, Oct 28.

According to an official release here this is in view of the fact that educational institutions are given a holiday the next day after Deepavali festival also.

However, November 8 would be a working day to compensate the holiday.
