Ex-armyman shot dead in Ballia, UP

Ballia, Oct 27: A retired armyman was shot dead by armed criminals in Sethatvar area of Ballia district on Monday, Oct 27.

According to police, Roop Narayan Singh (61) was shot at near a jeep stand, when he tried to held the outlaws, who were fleeing after robbing another man.

He succumbed on way to hospital.
