CBI in Kerala takes over Abhaya Case probe
Kochi, Oct 27 (UNI) The Kerala unit of the CBI today took over the investigation into the over 15-year-old ''Sister Abhaya Murder Case'' according to last week's High Court's order.
Mr Justice R Basant had last week directed the CBI Delhi unit to hand over the investigation to its Kerala unit by November three.
In August this year, the High Court had expressed dissatisfaction with the ongoing CBI probe in the matter relating to the death of the 21-year-old nun whose body was found in the well of St Pius Convent in Kottayam in March 1992.
