Beyonce Knowles warned her sister of show biz pressure

Washington, Oct 27 : American R and B singer Beyonce Knowles tried to convince her younger sister Solange not to go into the entertainment business, as it involves too much pressure.

Knowles, 27, who is very protective of her 22-year-old sister, feared that Solange would not be able to cope in the intense music industry.

"I didn't want her to go into the entertainment business. This industry involves a lot of pressure," Contactmusic quoted her as having told InStyle magazine.

However, Solange did not follow her sister's advice, and pursued her own singing career, with Beyonce keeping a watchful eye on her.

"I am so lucky to have her. We talk on the phone all night. I've been at all of her video shoots, even the ones that take 28 hours," she added.
