Two killed in road accident
Davanagere, Oct 26 (UNI) Two persons were killed on the spot and nine others injured seriously when a jeep in which they were travelling dashed against a bridge near Halasabalu on the national high way this morning.
Police said the mishap occurred when the jeep was on its way to Ukkadagatir from Tumkur.
The injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said.
The victims were identified as Laxmi Narasappa (60) and Chikka Obanna (45), police added.
