Two killed, 12 injured in road mishap
Nawada, Oct 26 (UNI) Two people were killed and 12 others injured when a mini-bus slipped into a roadside ditch near Mamura village under Town police station in the district today.
Police said the incident took place when the driver of the mini-bus lost control over his vehicle in a bid to save a cyclist who had suddenly appeared before the bus. The ill-fated bus was on way to Kauakol from Nawada when the accident occured, resulting into the death of two people on the spot and causing injuries to 10 others.
The two seriously injured people had been referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) while 10 others were undergoing treatment at local Sadar hospital, police added.
