Three held with brown sugar worth Rs one crore
Cooch Behar, Oct 26 (UNI) Altogether three people were arrested for possessing 450 grams of brown sugar, from Keshav Road under Kotwali police station area here last night.
Police said, the seized contraband was worth Rs one crore in the black market. Those arrested belonged to Jalpaiguri district of north Bengal.
District superintendent of police Devender Prakash Singh today said that all the three arrested were sent to judicial custody under Narcotics Act by a special court.
The investigation was on, police added.
