Three held with brown sugar worth one crore
Cooch Behar, Oct 26 (UNI) Three people were arrested for possessing 450 gram brown sugar from Keshav Road under Kotwali police station area here.
Police said those arrested last night belong to Jalpaiguri district in north Bengal and the seized contraband was worth Rs one crore in the black market.
Meanwhile, SP, Devender Prakash Singh today said all the three arrested were sent in judicial custody under Narcotics Act by a special court.
The investigation was on, police added.
