Raman does not possess private vehicle

Raipur, Oct 26 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh does not possess any private vehicle.

In an affidavit submitted along with his nomination papers, Dr Singh said he had Rs 7,00,042 cash, Rs 1,75,500 in HUF, Rs 6,03,247.46 in banks and financial institutions and Rs 6,88,392 in LIC.

He possesses 23 'tola' gold worth about Rs five lakh and four kg silver worth Rs 88,000 and other assets worth Rs 2,35,731.

Dr Singh owns 7 acre 19 decimel and Rs 15 acre 44 decimel personal land in Thathapur Kawardha apart from Rs 4.60 lakh in HUF.

He has one fourth share in a house built on 2,400 square feet area which comes to around Rs four lakh.

He has Housing Board's HIG house worth Rs 6.34 lakh which has a market value of Rs 17.55 lakh.

His wife Veena Singh possesses Rs 4,37,148 cash, Rs 7,89,888 as fixed deposit and other financial policies, Rs 22,500 in debenture bond and Rs 3,46,167 in LIC.

She owns 55 'tola' gold worth about Rs 7.5 lakh, eight kg silver worth about Rs 1.76 lakh, seven carat diamond worth Rs three lakh and other assets of Rs 17,000 value.

Ms Singh has 66 acre 96 decimel land worth Rs 14.20 lakh in Kawardha and Shahdol. She does not have a private vehicle.
