Peaches Geldof keen to show off her love for Big Apple

London, Oct 26 : British socialite Peaches Geldof is in a desperate frame of mind to show her love for the Big Apple, and the changes it has brought in her.

Geldof, 19, rented a blood-splattered Statue of Liberty outfit for a London party and is flying back from New York, the city, she says, has changed her for the better.

"I've enrolled at university in New York, I've got a beautiful husband, a brilliant job on a magazine, a beautiful flat, a cat," News of the World quoted her as saying.

"There's nowhere else I'd rather be. It's exactly what I needed," she added.

Peaches was panned by critics and ridiculed on Internet forums after her disastrous first column in US fashion magazine Nylon.

"Peaches is desperate to put this week behind her and really wants to show everyone that she's changed by really going to town at the A Plague on Both Your Houses party," a source added.
