13 get lifer in murder case

Buxar, Oct 26 (UNI) A fast track court has handed down life imprisonment to 13 people in connection with a murder case, here.

As per the charges, all the accused had entered the house of one Kapildeo Ram, manhandled his family members and injured him seriously on December 8, 1997 at Harpur village under the Itarhi police station area following a land dispute.

Later, Kapildeo Ram succumbed to his injuries.

The court of Satish Chandra Sinha awarded sentence yesterday.
