Prakash Mahajan held for burning Lalu Prasad's effigy

Aurangabad, Oct 25 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Prakash Mahajan, brother of slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, and four other party activists were today arrested for allegedly burning an effigy of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad here recently.

According to the sources, following the arrest of MNS chief Raj Thackeray from Ratnagiri by Mumbai Police in connection with an attack on North Indian candidates appearing for Railway Recruitment Board examination on October 19 by his party activists, Mahajan and four other leaders had burnt the effigy of Lalu Prasad at Kokanwadi area of the city to register their protest.

A case in this regard was registered against the local leaders including these five with the Kranti Chowk police station.
