SOG team arrests one in Jammu bus stand

Jammu, Oct 25: A special team of Jammu and Kashmir Police picked up a person with live rounds from general bus stand on Friday, Oct 24 night, sources on Saturday, Oct 25 said. Police arrested a person, identified as Siraj Din, resident of Budhal in Rajouri district in a raid at bus stand area.

''Based on a specific information, the team of Special Operation Group (SOG) conducted a raid in bus stand area and picked up a person,'' sources told sources. Siraj Din, who had come to Jammu from Srinagar was being interrogated by the SOG team.

''He is being interrogated about the live rounds recovered from him while his association with any militants outfit cannot be declared as police is working on various grounds,'' the sources added.
