Koirala accuses Maoists of hitting at independence of judiciary
Kathmandu, Oct 25 : Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala has accused the Maoists of undermining the independence of judiciary.
Talking to mediapersons in Biratnagar on Friday, Koirala referred to recent clash between the bar and the bench as efforts to undermine the independence of judiciary.
He also took a swipe at recent remarks made by Law Minister and Maoist leader Dev Gurung that 'capable' people who conducted "People's court" could be integrated into legal service.
Koirala said that the Nepali Congress would not tolerate efforts to hit judicial independence, Nepalnews reported.
