Groundnut, oil, RBD palm oil ease further

Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil along with RBD palm oil further eased today on sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil seeds (per quintal), groundnut and kardiseed fell by Rs 50 and Rs 10 per quintal respectively, on sluggish demand by bulk consumers. Castorseed Bombay and Disa slashed by Rs 35 and Rs 25 per quintal respectively, amid poor offtake by stockists, traders said.

In oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil and RBD palm oil slipped by Rs 10 and Rs 12 per 10 kg respectively, following poor buying support by bulk consumers. Soyabean ref and cottonseed ref also dipped by Rs five per 10 kg each.

In de-oiled cakes, Undec cottonseed plunged by Rs 100 per metric tonne (PMT) on persistent offloading by stockists, traders added.
