MP: Diamond trader found dead on railway track
Satna (MP), Oct 25: A 40-year-old diamond trader was murdered by some unidentified criminals and his body found on the Satna-Katni railway track 35 km from here, police said on Saturday, Oct 25.
The body, identified as Panna-resident diamond trader Vinod Soni, was recovered on Friday, Oct 24.
Soni was travelling in a train en route to Mumbai and it was suspected that his body was thrown out on the track after murder.
The motive of crime was not yet known.
A cellular phone and Rs 3,400 in cash were recovered from him, police added.
