Adlabs posts strong profit across divisions

Mumbai, Oct 25: Adlabs Films Limited (ADLABS) has posted strong growth in all its divisions in the second quarter ended September 30, 2008, with its Television content business making significant advance to Rs 14 crore from Rs one crore, in the corresponding period last year.

Its cinema division registered a growth of 119 per cent at Rs 89 crore, while the film processing and services division recorded a 75 per cent increase at Rs 38 crore against corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, a release said on Saturday, Oct 25. The film production and distribution business contributed Rs 70 crore.

On a sequential trailing quarter basis (April to June 08 quarter), turnover and operating EBIDTA, excluding radio, has grown by 21 per cent and 30 per cent respectively, the release added.
