45 jail inmates released by Pre-Mega Lok Adalat

Chandigarh, Oct 25 (UNI) As many as 45 prisoners were released by Pre-Mega Lok Adalat of "plea bargaining" held in the District Courts here today.

In all, 210 cases of those persons who had opted for "plea bargaining" under Section 265 of the CrPC, were disposed of and in the process 45 persons who were lodged in Model Jail, Burail and Chandigarh were released from custody.
