TN Governor Surjit Singh Barnala visits Bidar
Bidar, Oct 24 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala today visited the famous 'Guru Nanak Jhira Gurudwar' here and offered prayers.
Sikhs sacred ceremony 'Guru Gaddi' begins here from October 28.
Mr Barnala was given a warm welcome by the priests of the Gurudwara. He also visited Amruta, Kunada, Natural Spring in the vicinity of Gurudwar.
He was explained about arrangements made for the ceremony in which lakhs of Sikh pilgrims are expected to visit on the occasion of tricentury Guru Granth Sahib celebrations.
