Report on guest teachers' demands soon: Mange Ram Gupta
Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Mange Ram Gupta today said the committee constituted under his chairmanship to sort out the demands of guest teachers will soon submit its report to Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Mr Gupta assured that the services of guest teachers would not be dispensed with till the final decision on their demands was taken.
Besides, they would be adjusted in any other vacant post if a regular teacher was transferred or appointed at the place of their postings.
The Minister said that college guest teachers had also submitted their demands before the committee and the same had been placed before the concerned officers for review.
Mr Gupta also gave assurance to increase the remuneration of guest faculty.
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Education Minister to consider the demands of guest teachers in the state.
