Narrow escape for 145 IA passengers in UP

Lucknow, Oct 24 (UNI) A major accident was averted when a Delhi bound-Indian Airlines flight, ferrying 145 passengers, developed a techincal snag mid-air here this evening.

IC-812 flew-off well from Lucknow for New Delhi, but developed some techical snag after some time.

The crew members in the flight contacted the air-traffic control and managed to have safe emergency landing at the Amausi airport here, the Indian Airlines sources said.
