Labourer killed after hit by a stone, four injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 24 (UNI) A labourer was killed after he was hit by a stone while four people were injured in a road accident in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said Abdul Rashid Awan was working at Meelyal Farkin road in the north Kashmir district of Kupwara when a stone came down from a hill top. However, before he could be shifted to hosital,he died, they said.

In a separate incident, four passengers were wounded when a vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident at Jarnah, Karnah, in Kupwara. The injured were hospitalised.
