JCT mills announces bonus, salary increase for workers

Phagwara Oct 24 (UNI) JCT Mills Phagwara management has announced 12.33 per cent bonus for all more than 8,000 of its employees for the year 2007-2008.

Stating this, JCT Mill Vice-President J.C Sodhi told newsmen here today that its total financial implication would be more than Rs 2.17 crore.

An increase of Rs 35 was also announced for every worker of the mill, said Sodhi.

The increase would be applied with retrospective effect from October 1, this year, Sodhi said adding that its total implication would be around Rs 15.80 Lakh per annum.
