Handicrafts exhibition inaugurated
Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 24 (UNI) City Mayor Kavikondala Saroja today called upon the people to extend their patronage to the handicrafts that reflects ''our great culture and tradition.'' She said this after inaugurating the handicrafts exhibition organised by the Kakatiya Artisans Welfare Association here.
The products on display at the exhibition-cum-sale includes Zari and hand embroidered and artistic textiles, imitation and pearl jewellery, leather puppet and lamp shades, brassware, wood carving, artistic leatherware, carpets and durries, jute products besides crochet lace products.
The exhibition will be kept open from 1000 hrs to 2100 hrs daily till November two.
