Case against Raj Thackeray filed in court in Bihar
Biharsharif (Nalanda), Oct 24 (UNI) A complaint has been filed in the court of Biharsharif Chief Judicial Magistrate against the MNS chief Raj Thackeray here.
It has been filed by Jagdish Prasad, father of Pawan Kumar, who was killed during the recent assault on Bihari students by the MNS activists in Mumbai.
In his petition, Prasad said Mr Thackeray arrived at Andheri Railway Station on October 18, along with his two to three hundred supporters, and ordered them to kill all Bihari students.
Acting on their masters command, the supporters of Mr Thackeray pelted stones at the students from Bihar and beat them up with bat, iron rods and other leathal weapons, he added.
This led to Pawan succumbing to his injuries on the platform there, added Prasad.
He also said other Bihari students, Sudhir Kumar, Ratnesh and Ramratan, who had gone to Mumbai along with Pawan, were eyewitness to the killing of Pawan by the MNS supporters and informed the complainant about the entire incident.
In his petition, Prasad said no FIR was lodged with regard to the killing of Pawan in Mumbai, adding that he had filed the complaint in the court of Biharsharif with the hope of getting justice.
The court fixed November 8 to decide the jurisdiction for hearing the matter.
