Badal releases book on teachings of Guru Ravi Dass

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today released a book on the life and philosophy of Guru Ravi Dass titled 'Vaani Aur Viyakhiaya- Guru Ravidass Ji', authored by eminent scholar and retired IAS, Dr Karam Singh Raju.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Badal appreciated Dr Karam Singh for bringing out the book exclusively to highlight the main objective of Guru Ravidass's teachings in the idiom of a common man.

He hoped that the book, published by Information and Public Relations Department, would prove to be a beacon light to guide the mankind in order to attain salvation by shunning the path of materialism.
