Artisans exhibit exquisite earthen lamps
Bhubaneshwar, October 23, 2008 : A large number of people thronged a traditional earthen lamps or diyas exhibition cum sale in Bhubaneshwar. The exhibition showcased designer and stylish lamps ahead of the festival of lights, Diwali. About 24 artisans from across the state are participating in the exhibition, which is being held from October 17 - October 28.
Artisans who came from rural areas of the state said that they get better paid for their work by participating in this exhibition.
