India and Japan sign comprehensive security pact
Tokyo, October 22, 2008 : Visiting Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh and his Japanese counterpart, Taro Aso signed a joint declaration on security cooperation on Wednesday in Tokyo.
In an attempt to reaffirm their commitment to fight terrorism and trans-national crimes, both the countries signed the agreement that will intensify interaction between their militaries. The agreement further paves the way to expand the scope of strategic dialogue between the two Asian powers.
