Three dead, 18 injured in accident
Ahmednagar, Oct 23 (UNI) Three people, including two women, were killed and 18 others seriously injured today when a Maharashtra State Transport Bus, in which they were travelling, collided with a container near Kamargaon Village, about 20 km from here.
The Control Room said traffic was disrupted for about two hours on the busy Nagar-Pune Highway due to the accident.
The deceased have been identified as driver of the bus- Machindra Pote (40), DhanduBai Betal (50) and Sangita Betal (24).
The injured were admitted to the government-run hospital here, police said.
