Manmohan Singh arrives in Beijing to attend ASEM-7

Beijing, Oct 23: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here on Thursday, Oct 23 to attend the seventh Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM-7) beginning on Friday, Oct 24.

Dr Singh flew in from Tokyo after winding up his three-day visit to Japan during which he had discussed the global financial turbulence with his counterpart Taro Aso, besides holding a regular annual summit-level meeting with him.
