Jannayak Express derails in Bihar

Bettaih, Oct 23: At least three bogies along with the engine of the Darbhanga-Amritsar Up Jannayak Express today derailed near Narkatiyaganj railway station on Narkatiyaganj- Gorakhpur section of East Central Railway.

There was no casualty in the accident.

Railway sources said the derailment occurred around 0300 hours following which the movement of trains on the route was affected for over four hours.

The track was cleared and the train services resumed on the section around 0730 hrs.
