Gold tumbles to 5 week low

Mumbai, Oct 23 (UNI) Gold tumbled to a five week low today and closed at Rs 11,640 with a big loss of Rs 515 on sluggish demand by ornament makers and discouraging global advice, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Silver slumped by Rs 445 per kg to finish at Rs 17,535.
