Dental students locked up by management
Bhopal, Oct 23 (UNI) About 12 students of a private dental college in Madhya Pradesh's capital were locked up in a classroom by the college management when the former dared to protest against the extortion of extra fees, police said today.
A dispute arose between the students and management of the Gandhinagar based college when the students refused to pay extra fees without receipt. Irked over this, the management confined the students for four and a half hours yesterday inside a room.
An FIR was registered against management members Dr Ila Shah and Dr Jyoti Rai on the complaint of student Mohammad Jamil, police said, adding no arrest was made so far.
