ACB officials nab circle inspector

Kolhapur, Oct 23 (UNI) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials nabbed a circle inspector for allegedly accepting a bribe from Sachin Anandrao Nimbalkar in Gargoti town in Bhudargad tehsil of this district today.

ACB sources said that Nimbalkar, hailing from Gargoti, had applied with Bhudargad Tehsil revenue department for property records in the record-book.

On his application, tehsil circle inspector Shankar Dhula Patil (45) told Nimbalkar that property would be recorded in the record book if he paid Rs 15,000.

The matter was settled at Rs 10,000 and Nimbekar informed same to ACB office here, who laid a trap and caught Patil while accepting the bribe, ACB sources added.
