18 killed in fire in crackers-making unit in Rajasthan

Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Oct 23 : At least 18 people were killed and several others injured when five to six houses collapsed after explosions in a cracker-making unit at Deegh in Bharatput district of Rajasthan, last night.

According to the police, the accident occurred at a residential area where firecrackers were being made illegally.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Deeg Hospital, police said

Rescue operations are on.
