17 killed in cracker explosion in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Oct 22 (UNI) At least 17 people were killed and as many injured in an explosion in the house of a cracker manufacturer in the Dharuputa locality in Deeg town in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan tonight.
According to official sources, the blast caused major fire which engulfed a few houses in the neighbourhood.
Atleast 17 people, including 10 children and four women, were killed, Deeg hospital sources told UNI over telephone.
14 people were being treated at the hopspital , the sources said.
The death toll was likely to go up, as few people were feared buried under the debris of the damaged houses.
