Yeddyurappa congratulates ISRO scientists
Bangalore, Oct 22 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today congratulated the scientists of ISRO for successfully launching Chandrayaan-1 from Sriharikota.
In a statement here, he said the successful launching of this unmanned Lunar mission was a harbinger for the next stage of sending Indian scientists to Moon.
This is a historic moment in the Indian space research. India has joined the elite group of nations who have ventured into lunar space, he said.
The scientists from Karnataka, who are in the successful team will be honoured by the state goverment, he said.
