Two kg free sugar for ration card holders in Pondy
Puducherry, Oct 22 (UNI) The Puducherry administration today distributed two kg of free sugar to all ration card holders for Deepavali festival.
Civil Supplies Minister M Kandasamy inaugurated the distribution of the free sugar at fair price shop in Kirumambakkam.
He also distributed two sets of free clothes to the Scheduled Caste people for Deepavali on the occasion.
The sugar and clothes would be distributed in all places before the festival, he said.
