Train services disrupted following students' agitation in Bihar

Kolkata, Oct 22 (UNI) Eastern Railway (ER) today cancelled 13 passenger trains, including New Delhi Rajdhani Express, both origianting from Howrah and Sealdah, following students' agitation in Bihar in protest against the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena's assaults on north Indians.

The cancelled trains were the 2301 Up Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Exp, 2313 Up Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Exp, 3039 Up Howrah-Delhi Janata Exp, 3111 Up Sealdah-Varanasi Exp, 3049 Up Howrah-Amritsar Exp, 3105 Up Sealdah-Ballia Exp, 3185 Up Ganga Sagar Exp, 3021 Up Mithila Exp, 0231 Up Howrah-New Delhi Puja Special, 2367 Up Bhagalpur-New Delhi Vikramsila Exp, 3401 Up Bhagalpur-Danapur Intercity Exp, 3419 Up Bhagalpur Muzaffarpur Janseva Exp.

Besides, four other trains were short-terminated. The 2381 Up Poorva Exp short terminated at Asansol, 2317 Up Akal Takth Exp at Jasidih, 3151 Up Jammu Tawi exp at Baruipara and the 0365 Up Howrah-Danapur Puja special was short terminated at Bidyasagar.
