SIMI activists remanded to judicial custody
Aluva, Oct 22 (UNI) Four activists of the banned SIMI, who were taken into custody by the Special Investigation Team, were remanded to judicial custody till November four.
Mohinudeen alias Thaha (31), Mohemmed Nizaar (25), Nizar (38) and Askar (29) were produced before Paravoor Judicial First Class Magistrate K K Sujatha this evening.
The accused were remanded to judicial custody and sent to Aluva Sub Jail.
The activists had attended the controversial camp-cum-seminar organised by SIMI at Panayikulam near Aluva on August 15, 2006.
