BSNL donate 3.5cr to CM relief fund in Bihar
Patna, Oct 22: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a leading industrial house and a prominent news paper group today donated Rs 3.5 crores to the Chief Minister Relief fund for providing succour to the victims of devastating flood in north Bihar.
An official release said here that Chief General Manager of BSNL S C Mishra handed over the cheque of Rs 1.16 crore to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Similarly, Director of Dainik Jagaran Publication Group Sunil Kumar Gupta handed over the cheque of Rs 85 lakhs to Mr Kumar which was collected by the group for the flood relief fund.
A leading industrial house Larsen and Tubro also donated Rs 1.5 crore to Chief Minister relief fund. Mr P K Singh of the Larsen and Tubro group handed over the cheque.
Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for assistance for the relief to the flood victims.
