R Velu to flag off Garibrath on October 24
Vijayawada, Oct 22 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Railways R Velu would flag off the new Garibrath Express train, which would run between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, at Secunderbad railway station on October 24.
A press release issued here today said the inugural train would leave Secunderabad for Visakhapatnam at 1830 hrs on October 24 and regular service would start from October 26.
The Express train will leave Secunderabad on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 2015 hrs and reach Visakhapatnam on the next day.
In return direction, it will leave Visakhapatnam on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 2045 hrs and reach Secunderabad at 0810 hrs the next day.
The South Central Railway would also run special trains between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam to clear extra rush of passengers during Diwali, the release said.
The Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam will leave Hyderabad at 1930 hrs on October 26, 27, 31 and November one and reach Visakhapatnam at 0930 hrs on the next day.
In return direction, the train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2000 hrs on October 27, 28, November one and two and reach Hyderabad at 0850 hrs, the next day, the release added.
