Qatar Airways flight from Doha lands safely on runway

Kozhikode, Oct 22 (UNI) A Qatar Airways flight from Doha, which developed a mechanical snag landed safely on the runway at the Karippur airport here today.

According to airport sources, the aircraft landed on the runway safely but it could not move further due to some technical shag.

Since the flight could not be shifted from the runway, a Rak airways flight from Ras-al-Khaimah was re-routed to Nedumbassery airport.

After the Qatar airways flight was towed away from the runway by a crane, the runway was re-opened for landing, the sources added.
