Precious metals close low
Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) The downward march in the precious metals was witnessed for the second consecutive day today, with silver easing by Rs 70 per kg and gold by Rs 370 per ten gm, on sluggish demand from jewellery makers along with weak global cues, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.
Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 17,980 (18,050) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,155 (12,525) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,230 (12,585) UNI NV SR SKB1815
