NDFB militant nabbed in Imphal

Imphal, Oct 21: On Wednesday, Oct 22 police arrested one National Democratic Front of Bodoland(NDFB) cadre Fiushno Basumatory of Kokrajhar, Assam from New Checkon here.

SP, Imphal East, Th Radheshyam said, the cadre disclosed that he joined NDFB in 2006.

During interrogation he admitted his involvment in extortion from general public, government officials and businessmen, SP added.

In another incident police nabbed a woman Kangliepak Communist Party cadre, Chingsubam Taruni Devi(40), police said.
